I know it is in the C5`s but not sure about the C4. It don`t self destruct
but it does stop your sex life for 6 years. Actually it just won`t let you
start your car until you enter the correct code.

Couldn`t find anything about this in the owner`s manual.

The `mid-90s radio-kill business showed up on my wife`s
`96 Buick. (intended to discourage the radio thiefs) Had
to remember to disable the damn code off before dis-
connecting the battery. Apparently enough radios had
to go back to the dealer for "rebirthing" that GM and
Delco gave up on the idea. It wasn`t on her `01.
